Kylie Newsom

Kylie is a member of the firm’s Civil Litigation and Corporate practice groups, specializing in intellectual property protection and disputes.  She handles a variety of copyright, trademark, and trade secrets litigation in both state and federal courts across Northern Virginia.

Kylie also provides transactional IP services. She represents clients in the trademark application process, counsels businesses on IP protection and IP portfolio management, and assists clients with domain name registration. 

Kylie is the Chair of the Alexandria Young Lawyers Committee and an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.

Kylie joined the firm after receiving her law degree from The George Washington University Law School. Her law school experience includes an internship with the United States District Court for the District of Utah and the Office of the Public Defender for Arlington County. Kylie was also a student advocate for the GW Civil and Human Rights Law Clinic.
