Jay Myerson

Serving as Partner Emeritus, Jay brings decades of accomplished experience to the firm’s Family Law and Civil Litigation Practice Groups. Since 1986, Jay has honed his skill as a litigator in civil litigation, PI, election law, and family law. His focus now is primarily on family law, including divorce, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property division, domestic violence matters, prenuptial and separation agreements. His experience spans every stage of the process—from negotiation and mediation to collaborative law and litigation.

Jay brings an exceptional depth of experience to our firm, with nearly four decades of practicing law in Northern Virginia. As a senior attorney, Jay has built a trusted reputation for guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult legal challenges with compassion, clarity, and strategic insight.

He is frequently called upon for legal ethics, wellness, and professional development initiatives, and continues to mentor attorneys across Virginia.
